Prototype
Rapid form-and-fit iterations.

A practical analysis of CoreXY, calibration, AMS and the limits customers should understand before sourcing a print.
AUTOMATED DESKTOP FDM
Bambu Lab systems make high-speed FDM more accessible through CoreXY motion, vibration compensation, bed levelling, flow calibration, monitoring and multi-spool material handling.
For customers sourcing high-speed FDM, shorter lead time and multi-colour or multi-material variants are possible. Final quality still depends on geometry, material, cooling, layer height, volumetric flow and production expertise.
WHERE IT WORKS WELL
Rapid form-and-fit iterations.
Low-volume housings, brackets and accessories without tooling.
Signage, educational models and presentation parts with colour separation.
Selected jobs can use a different support material for easier removal and better surfaces.
SPEED IS NOT THE SPEC
| Factor | If pushed too far | Control |
|---|---|---|
| Surface and corners | Ringing, ghosting, swollen corners | Tune acceleration and cooling |
| Flow rate | Under-extrusion and weak roads | Respect material volumetric flow |
| Layer bonding | Insufficient fusion and layer failure | Tune heat, speed and chamber |
| Multi-colour | More time and purge waste | Reduce colour swaps and arrange parts |
